New Jersey Department of Community Affairs
The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) is a State agency created to provide administrative guidance, financial support and technical assistance to local governments, community development organizations, businesses and individuals to improve the quality of life in New Jersey.
DCA offers a wide range of programs and services that respond to issues of public concern including fire and building safety, housing production, community planning and development, local government management and finance, disaster recovery and mitigation, and privacy protection.

Rental Assistance Programs
NJ 211 can connect you to rental assistance programs and housing support in your community. Dial 2-1-1 or visit nj211.org.
New Jersey Division of Aging and Senior Services
The Division of Aging Services (DoAS) administers a number of federal and state-funded programs that make it easier for older adults to live in the community as long as possible with independence, dignity and choice.
Access to some of these programs is through NJ Save, an online application to help low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities save money on Medicare premiums, prescription costs, and other living expenses. Utility Assistance Programs
Apply for assistance through the Universal Service Fund/Home Energy Assistance Program (USFHEA), Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and Lead Remediation and Abatement Program (LRAP).
