Assemblywoman Katie Brennan is a member of the New Jersey General Assembly representing the 32nd Legislative District. Sworn into office in January 2026, she serves on the Consumer Affairs, Housing, and Education Committees.

In her first six months in office, Assemblywoman Brennan has been the prime sponsor of five bills signed into law. Before joining the Legislature, she spent more than 15 years advancing policies to make New Jersey more affordable, leading efforts to expand access to affordable housing, strengthen tenant protections, improve government accountability, and build partnerships that have become national models. Her work has helped secure the largest investment in affordable housing in New Jersey history and shaped housing policy at the local, state, and regional levels.

Throughout her career, Assemblywoman Brennan has championed practical solutions that improve everyday life for New Jersey families. She has been a strong advocate for quality public schools, consumer protections, environmental resilience, and transparent, accountable government. In the Legislature, she has continued that approach by focusing on policies that lower costs, expand opportunity, and ensure state government works more effectively for the people it serves.
