Assemblywoman Katie Brennan believes government works best when it delivers real results for the people it serves. She is focused on expanding affordable housing, strengthening public transportation, and advancing policies that make New Jersey more affordable, accessible, and full of opportunity.

Assemblywoman Brennan is a nationally recognized housing expert and has played a key role in shaping housing policy across the region, serving in leadership positions at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, the Affordable Housing Alliance, and as executive director of the New York State Office of Resilient Homes and Communities. She helped secure the biggest influx of funding for affordable housing in New Jersey history and launched the first-ever statewide hospital and housing agency partnership, now a national model for building affordable housing for families with serious medical needs.

Locally, Assemblywoman Brennan has been a tireless advocate for stronger tenant protections, reliable public transit, and stronger inclusionary zoning across Hudson County.
